My haircare routine

Hi everyone!

How's your summer?i'm working like a dog and yesterday i Was been called from The office, to remove my annual leave in november, didn't understand exactly,but probably we are under crew.

I'm a little bit sad because i Was starting to organize a "few-days-trip" in my beloved Dublin and then in London(never been there and all The people i know who were been there told me that is my city:weird,colorful,crazy)

We'll see how things are goin'to be....

Today,I'd like to write about my haircare routine.

Almost last year,i went to my hairdresser and she Was draw my attention about The situation of my hair. I noticed that they were weak, i Was loosing a lot...too much,but i didn't do anything

The hairdresser told me that they were getting thin,i had to to something!

In that moment i Was starting to pay more attention on myself. So i started with my hair, changing radically my routine and my products (and then i extended to all my body...and now i Really love taking care of myself, even if sometimes is quite hard...yes it's hard after a very heavy Day at work,when The only thing you can Think about is taking off your uniform and Go straight to sleep,but you can't...you have also to wash yourself,remove your makeup,Put The night cream on...

So, today my haircare routine is totally changed. And my hair did Really love these treatments!

Twice per week i'm doing The oat hair mask before shampoo:i Put it on more or less for 15 minutes,combine with my new hair brush. Sometimes i Put The flax seed OIL insted,for 20 minutes,maybe more.

I'm using Soak & Float shampoo bar from Lush,alternating with The Rose Milk Repair Shampoo from Lavera(which is a bit too rich for my hair...i have to try it diluting) following by The rose Milk repairing hair conditioner always from Lavera. I don't know how many Times i said "i Really love this", but that is The truth, specially about The conditioner.they Really changed my hair. After few months i can see clearly The difference: less loss, hair healthy and shiny,probably increased The growth...i'm so happy!

I'm also testing Amla powder in these days,but i'll Let you know something after a while...i don't like give an opinion without testing The products for weeks/months.i like to have a precise opinion.

About this product as well i can't say too much, simply because i'm Just starting to testing it,but i like it. I'm vaporising it on all hair without rinsing.










































Another special treatment for hair is known as CO-WASH. I'm doing once or twice per month.

For those of you Who don't know what's this treatment, basically is a different way to wash hair,using The conditioner as shampoo.

I'm using this one which is not only very very cheap but also very natural.

I mix a bit of this conditioner with a spoon of a raw cane sugar and a spoon of a white sugar and i Put The mixture on my already wet hair.

I have no idea which One of this treatment is The successful one, or a mixture of all of them.but my hair did Really appreciate all of this pampering.







 

The final touch Was changing The hair brush. This one is very particular.



As you can see The synthetic bristles have different lenghts. When you brush your hair you don't even feel The brushing! It's like a different pressure in the brush. I didn't know anything about it before, and now it Was opened a universe.

My hair are not being pulled anymore, even wet!

A massive green haul!

Hi everyone!

Today i wanna talk...oh well...write,about my decision to go back to green.

I used to be the owner of a health store in my small town for almost 6,5 years. It means that i grew up sorrounded by green products,green philosophy etc....and i Really loved it so much.

When i had my shop "green style" wasn't so cool, i mean,in Italy,and in my local area. Few people Who were doing cosmetics on their own....they seems to be weird(growing up tomatoes,potatoes and all The vegetables was ok...but...different things...well...you looked live a sort of witch.... Even me with my shop)

I decided to go back to green basically because of my hair. Now it's more than One year that i have an incredible loss of hair,with just 1 or 2 months break. So it's not seasonal.

I started changed my shampoo,now i'm using a solid bar from Lush, then The conditioner (firstly i used veganese from Lush, now i'm using the rose milk conditioner from Lavera)...and then i added some others healthy routine, like a pre-shampoo hair mask, co-wash, and others hair treatment in powder(=Amla)...

Then i said to myself,because i saw my hair were repairing(i can't say that now they're healthy...but they're improving and i'm so happy...i was scared to become completely bald!):why only hair? Even your body,and your Face want to be treated properly...so...here we go.

I'm started to order some products online and i discovered so nice labels and companies,not only italians (but i'll write a post very soon and updated about my favourite online shopping websites)

Recently,about 2 weeks ago a made 3 orders,on ecobelli.com, on omniabotanica.it and on sheabutter cottage (akuawood.co.uk)

Ecobelli sent very fast, i Made these orders on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday...(well,i wasn't at home,it was delivered The Day after. And this is a pitture of The content of The pack

A chocolate facial mask, Amla powder for my hair, eyebright gel, a super super nourishing conditioner, a facial scrub, washable cleansing pads, lots of samples (in the green envelope) and a gift for my boyfriend....we are close to our first anniversary,and i wish is goin to be a very special Day (even though i'll fly)

This order i Made it basically for The hair Brush....i read something on The web e was already in love. I was also attracted by The strenghtening hair mist, and the Face cream with argan oil (i'm looking for a good substitute of my actual great love,The clinique moisture surge)

Some tina problems with Argan OIL, which few drops leeked out...but i didn't say anything to The company because i had great problems for The delivery.

The courier came on friday but nobody were at home. On The same Day we called The customer service (which is a payment service),to booked another delivery for The next monday. My family stay at home on monday and on tuesday....nobody came. Again we called The customer service on wednesday,we explain The situation:The girl at The phone was apologizing and then she told me that for a mistake it came back to stock and then she told me that she could call me during The Day to book another deliver.

Nobody called.well,at almost The end of The working day i called The customer service again to book The delivery. A very rude and unpolite girl was answering, telling me that it was my fault if The pack was back in stock, because they called me to advice me about the delivery(when?i didn't receive any calls from then....only yesterday!)but in The end, and after spending about 22,50€ at The phone, i booked The delivery, and finally i received it....i don't Really think i'll ever buy again from this company....even if i'll go crazy for The products. (have you ever had this kind of experience?)

In The meanwhile i was in The Middle of this sort of Odyssey, i received my order by normal mail, from Sheabutter Company.

I discovered this (i think it's tiny but i'm not sure)tiny company recently,after watching some enthusiastic review about some products,which i also bought:

I'm talking about the milk hair treatment spray, with and with out fragrance.

In this picture The coconut oil is missing,because is in The fridge: as you probably know that at a certain temperature it transforming itself,from solid to liquid...so,it was in a jar and i t was melting all The other products...:(

(i decided to order The coconut oil after reading this very useful post about 160 uses of coconut oil)

So i decided to contact The company.i Just tweeted them about this problem (i know that during summer they used to send bottle instead of jar,Just to avoid this problem)..They were replying immediately,they did apologize for The inconvenience and they told me that they were going to send me a replacement.

Well,speechless. I'm still speechless.they didn't want back The jar (which i didn't open),and yesterday i received an email with The shipping confirmation.

I don't even try a product, but 100% i'll buy again from Sheabutter Cottage. Even if they're a small company, they do know how much is important customer care. they didn't pay me for all this advertising, i'm Just enthusiasthic about The service.

Hi everyone! I'm so so thrilled to announce a new beginning for this blog. This is The first post in English language (i probably had written before, if only knew how to add pages to the "normal"blog...and now i discovered!)

I'm Really Really HAPPY!

First of all,who's behind Beauty Recipes? 2 young women,Anna and Monia, same age (33),same passion for beauty, kitchen, health food,2 different stories.

Anna,well,me, is actually a cabin crew member,working for One of The most famous and at The same time cheaper European airlines(guess what?)..i Really have a lot of dreams,but first of all i Really wish to change my job. I Really wish to do something different. I'd love to attend a make up class, but it's quite difficult to find something serious....for The moment i have this blog,in which i'm writing all my experiences in beautyland(which is an amazing world,simply because any opinions count,or should),sometimes i'll write something about my kitchen world (cooking,as well as baking,is another great passion)....no One of these great passion actually became a job....but i'm waiting,and i'm trying to improve myself...:)

Monia is a super single mum, of 2 super crazy little ladies. I don't Really know how she could manage everything, even have a coffee with me when i'm goin'to visit my mum...that's Why she's not writing so often,but i Really Really appreciate her dedication to this blog....

I think that's it for The moment....well, for sure this won't be The exact version of The Italian one(otherwise i'll be bored so quick).
